Red Palm Oil?15 Jul 2004 19:27 GMT8
No one has responded to my inquiry about the value (or lack) of red palm oil
for CAGs. Maybe the topic has been beaten to death before I came around. If
so, sorry. I did order some and it was three times more expensive than
another variety which seems to be bottled mostly for ...

Grace keeps on a-pluckin'13 Jul 2004 16:53 GMT1
My 6 yr old CAG "Grace" continues to pluck her feathers. Avian vet said she
is healthy. Following the Drs' advice I changed her diet and have been doing
all the stuff and all the loving such a creature needs. We'll see.
Meanwhile, does anyone have solid info about red palm oil? I ...
CAG Had A Seizure....13 Jul 2004 00:48 GMT5
My Congo African Grey Jessie had a seizure today while the bird
groomers were working on her nails.  I got Jessie back in March and
had my avian vet to a full blood panel on her and all the tests came
back showing that Jessie is a healthy 12 to 13 year old female CAG.

Plucking or part of molting?12 Jul 2004 16:30 GMT25
I have a almost 3 year old CAG.  I'm pretty sure he's happy and
healthy.  He sees the vet once a year.  He sings/whistles/talks all the
time when I'm home and not home, since I"ve heard him when I'm walking
towards my condo.  He sleeps/rests on one foot.  He's pretty much out of

After being away from this news group for a few years I decided to have
another look.
Imagine my surprise by seeing the same topics and cat calling trolls are
still here,This group used to give out good sensible advise.

I have a teil that has small but noticeable spots where there seems to
be no feathers but I do keep an eye on him and cant seem to catch him
pulling normal size feathers. But I have watched him as he is cleaning
New biting from Affectionate Pet10 Jul 2004 23:33 GMT1
I've had rosie about 12 years since she was a baby.
We moved to Oregon in Jan and she seemed to take it well.
All of a sudden without any reason I can see, she has become aggressive and
started biting me, even once in the face.

budgies and cockatiels?08 Jul 2004 13:02 GMT2
Do budgies and cockatiels get along? My parents were considering buying a
budgie, but when they go on holiday I will have to look after it. I already
have 2 cockatiels. Obviously I wouldn't let them out at the same time, but
would my cockatiels be inclined to attack the budgie?
maiting after seven years?07 Jul 2004 18:17 GMT84
I have a male and female african greys.  One is a little more than 7
years old, the other one 7.   Is there a chance that I could get them
to mate?
How would I do it??   They have always been in separate cages.
