silly tiels30 Sep 2004 21:29 GMT11
In my large mixed aviary I have tiels, conures, canaries and some bantam
chickens (barbu d'Uccles).
The bantams have a box in which to lay their eggs on the floor of the insde
part of the aviary.

American equivalent to "witte molen parrot premium"?28 Sep 2004 19:40 GMT9
To anyone's knowledge, is there an equivalent product to "witte molen
parrot premium" that is available in the USA? It seems this product is
only available in the UK. I'm particularly concerned about the high
sunflower seed ratio of many commercial foods blocking the absorption

Caring for Rescued Birds27 Sep 2004 00:24 GMT33
On another chat that I can't post to they are talking about charging
fees to rescue animals.  Since I can't post there I post here.
Yes, it's not right for a rescue to charge fees to adopt animals that
they've rescued, but then how do people keep the resuce going.

Galahs? I'm after a hand raised baby when they come into season!

I thought pied's had more white.
Mine has the pearling on the wings, no white on the body and
Nail clipping18 Sep 2004 00:14 GMT2
How does every one clip their AG's claws?
Why do you keep birds?17 Sep 2004 08:24 GMT15
Some 'men' keep them because birds do not have breasts. Apparently a
childhood trauma has made them afraid.
Scratching17 Sep 2004 03:35 GMT21
My tiel has been scratching all the time.  This only started a few days ago.
Is this normal, or is something wrong?
AG Digging behavior?15 Sep 2004 01:49 GMT13
My ~10 yr old Timneh has recently picked up a digging behavior in his
cage. Is there a special reason why they are doing this? I do not know
if "he" is female or male.
Maybe he's just doing it for fun but i thought i'd ask :)
House training14 Sep 2004 22:20 GMT5

Parrots are EVIL, the DEVIL created them !13 Sep 2004 06:04 GMT10
Parrots are EVIL, they're the work of the devil, made to collect your
souls and to turn you into brainless slaves of hell.
If you like parrots, you will lose your soul to be damned
for eternal torment in hell.Demons and devils will feast on your soul
