I purchased Chiquita a little over a year ago from an older woman that
was going to live with her daughter and could no longer maintain the
Amazon Blue Parrot. She is approx 4-5 years old.. and she is awesome..
however, lately, I have not been home and haven't been able to let her

I am considering buying a stainless steel cage made by Liberty Cage Company
and sold by Bird Cages 4 Less. Has anyone here had any experience with
Liberty Cage Company or with Bird Cages 4 Less?

For the past few weeks I've noticed that Piper has a few bare spots
underneath some of his top feathers around his neck and chest area. It
is especially noticeable while he is preening... you can see the skin
until he shakes his feathers. Tuesday night I had him on my shoulder

I was looking into buying a cockatiel but my wife is pregnant and was
wondering if the bird would be a danger to her and the unborn child.  Any
info is much appreciated.

I have recently brought another Parrot. At the moment they are in 2 separate
cages next to each other. What are the pros and cons of keeping them in the
same cage. The one I have just brougt is a good talker would it stop him
talking if we put them in the same cage.

I have a problem. Whenever I leave the room he shrieks in dissaproval.
Any way of teaching him to be more tolerant? He was very insecure when I
got him but now he owns me.

Dear fellow bird lovers,
my wife and I have decided to move from the UK to the US.
We want to take our 18 months old African Grey - Ian - with us.
Ian was born and bred in the UK.

How do I know if my tiel's beak is too long?  If it is too long, what should
I do about it?

Anyone ever have a baby tiel have lock jaw, its 3 weeks old, it was fine,
then when daddy was feeding it, it was just going everywhere and its like
what the hell, so we watched it and the baby is not opening its beak, I have
opened its beak and it is like its locked, it does open ...
