A sad tale for a cockatiel30 Apr 2005 03:23 GMT36
I had to pick up a visitor this morning and bring him to work.
While I was waiting for him at his Bed and Breakfast, the owner and I
started talking about birds. She told me this horrid story about a
friend of hers. This friend would roll her cockatiel's cage outdoors
My cockatiel gets its head scritched by a budgerigar30 Apr 2005 03:18 GMT4
My cockatiel gets her head scritched by a budgerigar.
She sidles up to them, and they oblige.  Well, they don't all.  Some of them
complain about her presence and fly away, but some of them nibble her neck
for her.

Update on injured Cockatiel27 Apr 2005 01:54 GMT6
A while back I posted about hearing about a Cockatiel these idiots
owned that had a broken leg. The avian rescue and adoption told me
they would update me on what's been going on with the bird. They did
come and take the bird with the owner's permission and the bird did
Picks Red Tail Feathers24 Apr 2005 21:34 GMT6
My 'gray' bites off its' red tail feathers.  She is otherwise a healthy bird

next to a window which faces East - so she sees the sun in the morning.  She
eats well and is a very friendly bird.  Any ideas ...

My son's allergies are forcing us to sell our pet African Grey parrot.

cage. She's located in Tallahassee, FL about 5 minutes from ...
Bonded pair very territorial, eggs in strange places in my house16 Apr 2005 04:02 GMT3
My hen (Poppy) is at least three years old, my cock (Crackers) about 1.5
years old. Lately they have both become very territorial about "the bird
room" and have been walking around on the floor in there at every chance
they get. Both have been guarding a spot in the corner of the ...

New restrictions on "The Land of the  not so Free?"02 Apr 2005 17:17 GMT1
Thank  G'd I don't live in the US. This type of legislation is so widespread
through all walks of life
in your society already it has become draconian.
You all just go along with it like sheep to the slaughter.
Hand Feeding Baby Cockatiels01 Apr 2005 23:36 GMT45
I was recently handed two unweaned baby cockatiels, as the kids had
left the door open and the parents flew out of the house, the people
knew nothing about hand feeding the babies, heck they even wanted to
