| Birdie Corn Bread EASY | 20 Sep 2005 02:44 GMT | 2 |
http://www.theaviary.com/recipes/rec-b1.shtml There are several more of these recipes on the internet which use Jiffy Corn Bread as the base. Keep in mind that Jiffy does have some sugar in it, which is why many bird keepers use corn meal instead.

| Cockatiels in the wild | 18 Sep 2005 01:19 GMT | 2 |
Just thinking yesterday how destructive cockatiels must be in the wild. Do they strip trees of bark and leaves? A whole flock could really do some damage. Are they regarded as pests in the wild?

| Paper clips | 15 Sep 2005 01:49 GMT | 5 |
Just an idea, my tiel seems to dislike expensive toys from stores. A simple chain of linked paper clips for some reason got her attention immediately. In fact in 5 minutes she learnt how to pull them apart. Now I have paper clips spread thru the house :-) Regards, tony

How many eggs does a tiel normally lay at one time? So far mine has had 8, and it looks like she is trying to lay another. Is that typical? Thanks
