Question about a greenwing macaw26 Apr 2006 19:45 GMT2
I have an 18 month year old greenwing macaw. He is generally a good
bird (affectionate, enthusiastic, playful etc.), but incredibly
hyper-active. He doesn't bite as such, but he is very rough with his
beak at times (pinches, scratches and squeezes), and when you try to
info on ring?25 Apr 2006 17:13 GMT2
My Grey, has a ring, which he's had since he was a baby, and I remember the
breeder telling me that his DOB was indicated.  Maybe it is, but it must be
in some kind of secret bird code.  So, my question is, in the UK, what info
is there on the ring?
grey has 'fallen'22 Apr 2006 12:23 GMT10
My grey can fly, but not so well, so she only can descend, not ascend.

Bird flu in Scotland22 Apr 2006 08:39 GMT13

I actually ordered about 15 courses of Tamiflu, but know one knows if it's
very effective.
Badass.
Scary Aviary Quote.16 Apr 2006 18:03 GMT18
Im not likely to go ahead with this, unless flexible payment terms can be
met.
I presume this is high quality Stainless Steel, but I can't be sure.  The
floor might be a bit suspect too, Harry loves to chew through wood.
advice needed for injured cockatiel13 Apr 2006 23:49 GMT12
On Monday our beloved cockatiel got up on top of a door when I was
closing it.  I am not sure whether he just got whacked or whether his
head actually got pinched by the door, but he fell on the floor upside
down, wings flapping.
What kind of wood to use for CAG toys?12 Apr 2006 15:49 GMT10
I've made some toys for my Grey and I used untreated pine wood.  This bird
can chew thru almost anything.  Is there a harder wood that someone could
recommend that is safe for birds?
Thanks,

My most bizarre, and amusing, cockatiel has become obsessed with his image
in a toaster that has a mirror finish.
He talks, screams, whistles to it, protects it.
Some displaced mating ritual?
