new grey31 May 2006 20:37 GMT7
We have a new grey, just about 3 months old, and no need for her, to be fed
manually, but she does not eat like our other grey.
1) Is it stress or what?
2) She only cries like a baby-grey (weeeep) the whole time. When the other
Cockatiel Neglect in Pet Shop23 May 2006 18:27 GMT5
I went in to a local petshop and saw 4 cockatiels crammed into a tiny cage
(looked like a hamster cage), looking very miserable and unhealthy. One
particular cockatiel looked in a bad way one of it's toes was bent in a
really unusual way and on the other foot a toenail was ...

MY CAG is a lovable 4 mo old male. Kiko is very affectionate and loves
attention. I've noticed that when he's eating his favorite treat (nutri
berries) he forgets who I am and wants to bite when I come near him. Is
this normal?
CAG never talks in front of me14 May 2006 18:30 GMT12
I have a 3 year old CAG who never shuts up, except when I'm there. Despite 9
people living in the house, he's only ever learnt to say things I've taught
him, and he mimicks other sounds too, but never in front of me.
When I'm not in the room, it's hard to get him to shut up, but ...
Lost Cockatiel in Phoenix, Arizona05 May 2006 09:20 GMT2
Thought it'd be worth a shot here.  "Scuttle" is grey with a white face
(no red cheek patch).  He needed a wing clip and rushed the door.  We
had no idea he could fly like that!  Send email to the address here.
Thanks!
