My two CAGs really love to chew up their rope perches, making them useless
in no time. On average they destroy one rope perch a month each despite
having other perches (wood and cement), toys and foraging bowls in their

nearly had an accident with my tiel buddy tonight and it got me

I have a good collection of Parrot photographs and enjoy browsing parrot
photo sites - fascinated with them.  The parrot which I find absolutely
breathtakingly beautiful is the Scarlet Macaw, the Blue and Gold Macaw and
the Hyacinth(spelling?)...

Cutty (CAG 7yrs old) was clipped when I bought him.
I had a freind who works with birds give him a cut, but after a while I
decided to let them grow out. A couple of times when he crash landed he
actually bent a flight feather right at the base under the skin . It stuck

i haave 2 cockteils and i had no idea i had male and female to begin
with then the one i thought was male turned out to be female. they
started mating so i got a book and a nest box and begin to read up now
these cockateils wasnt tame when i got them and i know that wasnt good

Hello all,im a newbi here,I am Dave from Sydney Australia,
we have over hundred different parrots.
we breed them for a hobbie,they are part of our family.We have 40
cockatiels,thats not including the others,so we have 140 parrots..lol.

I have a pearl pied which we all thought was a cock. He talks and whistles
well and does that little hop the cock birds do. Now he is starting to grow
his mature tail feathers, they are coming in speckled like the juvenile and
