I realise that this group is all but dead, but for those who are still here I beg that you learn about Proventricular Dilation Disease (PDD) and make sure both you and your vet know the warning signs. We did not know about this until it was too late.

One of my tiels' water bottles has developed a slightly green tinge to it. Simply washing it out with soap and water doesn't seem to remove the gunk. Can anyone give me a good method of sterilizing it so that it looks clear again?

A young grey needs an adoption or fostering. Mother has been unable to pay any attention to her for a year and she has her living outside for the past year. Or is kept in the garage. Now she is plucking and very sad. Wonder why!!!

I have 2 baby cockatiels that are about 2 1/2 weeks old. I want to start handfeeding them but someone told me that you are suppose to feed them from the right or left but they weren't sure which side. I have a ton of books on breeding, etc cockatiels but I can't find anything on ...
