For several years I've had a 20in tall 75G tank. I am going to replace my tank soon and was thinking about going with a 24in tall tank. Is anyone else using a 24in tall tank? I know that the light hitting the bottom would be weaker as a result. I am already running

| additional aeration at night needed with C02 injection? | 29 Oct 2003 10:49 GMT | 11 |
I just thought I'd toss this around the newsgroup and see what kind of opinions I get: What does everyone think about adding more aeration at night when the lights are off and plants have reversed their gas roles. I have seen a few of my fish dwelling towards the water surface at ...

I'm looking for a complete CO2 system with a solenoid valve, without the CO2 bottle/tank or a PH controller (yet ;-). These three companies seem to be the "main stream" setups and are all relatively close in terms of price. Are they relatively close in terms of

| Metal halide question | 26 Oct 2003 23:27 GMT | 3 |
I've got one important question. Can I use a 150W Aqualine 10000K MH bulb over amano style aquarium? I've got unused bulb from my saltwater aquarium and I want to use it. Plants will be ok or not under this kind of lightning? Isn't 150W too much for 80x35x40(height) cm tank? The ...
