de-lurking to request healing vibes...  something is wrong with miss
izzy bunny's mouth.  her incisors look fine but she won't let me see
her molars;  off to the vet's this evening.  she's grinding her teeth
like mad (this is a first for any of my bunnies and it's SCARY),

Daryl, are you out there?  Are you okay?  I haven't seen your name
much since you got out of the hospital.  Hope the good thoughts and
healing vibes are getting you back on your feet.

Is paper safe for Bunnies?30 Nov 2004 19:36 GMT5
Hi everyone, I was told that it's ok for bunnies to chew on "the
yellow pages", does anyone knows if it's true. How about books? One of
my bunnies has recently started eating lots of paper, it doesn't seem
to affect her in any way, and she does gets her veggies, pellets, hay
Rosie leaving droppings in sleeping area30 Nov 2004 19:35 GMT4
We have a 12 month old Netherland Dwarf called Rosie. I've noticed
that lately she's started doing her droppings in the covered sleeping
area of her hutch rather than in her litter tray which she'd been
consistently using up till now.

Little vibes for Roger30 Nov 2004 17:59 GMT15
He's started doing that squeaking sort of cough thing (eek! that Patches was
doing!) so we're off to the vet's this morning.  Probably a Baytril sort of
thing, but I'm *really* paranoid now after Patches. Please send little vibes
he's just got something little. :-)  Save those big ...
We are all well. Raven's cloudy eyes have cleared!30 Nov 2004 17:55 GMT14
Arwen and Raven are busy munching parsley and some lovely fresh apple.
We've had snow and nice greens are scarce but the bunnies are well.
Yesterday I left the empty bag from "Yesterday's News" the jumbo size,
on the floor and both bunnies had a grand old time going in and out.
bald patch around Flopsy's eye30 Nov 2004 02:27 GMT8
Within the last 2 weeks or so one of our rabbits has developed a bald patch
near her eye.  It is a little inflamed, but not a lot.  A few days ago the
vet sold us some ophthalmic ointment called Vetropolycin to put on the skin,
but I have my doubts because according to the ...
Not eating pellets30 Nov 2004 00:36 GMT13
In the past few days my rabbit has stopped eating his food (pellets).  He
does eat on carrots and other veggies but just not his pellets.  Everything
else about him appears normal.   If he doesn't start eating his food by
Friday I will be taking him to the vet.

Nibbler ate a huge chunk of rubber!!29 Nov 2004 01:19 GMT5
Nibbler ate a chunk of rubber about 1"x2" and about 3 mm thick.  If
there anything I should do?  Anything I should be watching for?  Last
time he ate rubber, I was told his teeth would pulverize it so much that
it wouldn't be a problem for him to just pass it.  But this size ...
