DIPPER IS OK03 Dec 2004 23:17 GMT34
the vet just called.  dipper had two tiny hairballs lodged in her piloris
(whatever that is -- ronie?) and the contents of her stomach started to go
BAD.  it was past the point of fermentation which often happens.
now here's a little tip from the vet.  she told me there were flakes ...

Bunny quirks03 Dec 2004 15:54 GMT6
What quirks does your bunny have?
Other than trampling cats whenever he gets a chance, The Phooka smacks the
nozzle on his water bottle with his front paw before and while he drinks.
Why?  I have no idea....

Hiyas....
It's been something of a rough year in this little neck of the woods....
That's why I've been sort of a stranger around here. I love APR..... I feel
like I've missed a TON!

bunny needs or drinks, I was wondering if anyone has ever gave ther
bunnies any kind of natural vegatable juice?  One of my local grocery
Lime Wood03 Dec 2004 00:46 GMT1
Well, I went for my morning walk today...
Some guys near the bottom of the field behind me were chopping down some
trees... they had loads of slices of wood and I asked if I could have
some. So, they gave me a really nice big chunck of wood. I asked and
spayed rabbits not 100%02 Dec 2004 14:09 GMT10
I had two rabbits spayed last Friday, they stayed overnight at the vets.
got them home, I didn't expect them to be 100% far from it, but by following
morning, neither was eating, I suspect that one of them was in pain, went to
emergency vet, sorted the pain out.
holes02 Dec 2004 06:13 GMT1

Abscess is back02 Dec 2004 04:42 GMT26
It looks like Bear's abscess is back and moved over to the other side
of the jaw. He's 9 or 10 now, and getting frail (despite the nightly
high calorie mush) so I'm not going to authorize surgery.
We'll try bicillin, but am not holding out much hope for my big brown

Rufus had a C&S and a biopsy done again on his ears.  the bac was a Staph
infection, which is resistant to several drugs.  the biopsy was nothing
exciting.  Doc mentioned CAT scan to find the sorce of the infection.  but we
will try to treat it medically too.  So he started ...

General Update01 Dec 2004 07:49 GMT5
Twilly is doing OK. Not much improvement since the last update, but she
is not getting worse. She is maintaining.
She is eating a lot now but I don't know where it is going as she is not
gaining any weight. She is being very endearing though. She saw the
