the vet just called. dipper had two tiny hairballs lodged in her piloris (whatever that is -- ronie?) and the contents of her stomach started to go BAD. it was past the point of fermentation which often happens. now here's a little tip from the vet. she told me there were flakes ...

What quirks does your bunny have? Other than trampling cats whenever he gets a chance, The Phooka smacks the nozzle on his water bottle with his front paw before and while he drinks. Why? I have no idea....

I had two rabbits spayed last Friday, they stayed overnight at the vets. got them home, I didn't expect them to be 100% far from it, but by following morning, neither was eating, I suspect that one of them was in pain, went to emergency vet, sorted the pain out.

keep those vibes coming big time please. vet must do a gastrotemy (i know the spelling is wrong but i don't care!) she will be having the surgery today and will be in the hospital for a few more days.

It looks like Bear's abscess is back and moved over to the other side of the jaw. He's 9 or 10 now, and getting frail (despite the nightly high calorie mush) so I'm not going to authorize surgery. We'll try bicillin, but am not holding out much hope for my big brown

Rufus had a C&S and a biopsy done again on his ears. the bac was a Staph infection, which is resistant to several drugs. the biopsy was nothing exciting. Doc mentioned CAT scan to find the sorce of the infection. but we will try to treat it medically too. So he started ...

didn't eat a thing since last night. vet is seeing her at 4PM today. keep your fingers crossed my darling daughter gets her there on time and none the worse for wear! i have a feeling it's the molar spurs again.

jenny escaped the other day and got a hold of kirk. i didn't notice how much.. his eyelid was split open. top and bottom. took him to the vet sat and they knocked him out and sewed it up. he looks pitiful . poor baby. they missed a bite mark. it seem a bit infected. i am treating it
