Bunny Bale30 Jun 2005 22:33 GMT3
I finally got the Bunny Bale hay and the cute little feeder.  I was so surprised at the weight of the bale.  This looks like enough hay to last a year!!!!  So far, Flapr isn't too excited about the whole deal.  But I HAVE caught her nibbling at the hay, even though she tries to ...
Need Joe & Anita emails - TX bunfest!30 Jun 2005 15:27 GMT3
Hey folks, I'm trying to reach Joe and Anita to organize Texas Bunfest when
Carrie comes to visit. When my hard drive cratered it took their emails with
it...I've guessed but since I don't have an answer yet I'd appreciate it if
someone would send me their addys - or let them ...
What's The Cutest Thing About Bunnies?30 Jun 2005 02:36 GMT18
I think for me:
* Their cute ears, be they lop ears, uppy ears, or flopsy ears!
* The shape of that bit by their mouth, where it's kind of like a curvy "w"
shape. Like 2 kind of "frontal cheeks" that bulge out, and then come
Fleas in TX :-(29 Jun 2005 22:48 GMT20
Well, we started letting the cats out in the backyard now and then just for
fun - with supervision of course.
Today Jon found a flea in the carpet.
At least it wasn't on any of the furries - usually Rosie gets them first --
The Happy Carrot dance29 Jun 2005 14:21 GMT5
Have any of your buns done anything like this??
I buy the bags of Bunny Luv peeled and washed mini carrots for my bun. I get
them in the produce section of the grocery store. When I give one to my
bunny, she takes off with it! She runs for about 2 or 3 minutes with it in
Irresponsibly Pet stores29 Jun 2005 05:22 GMT13
Sometimes I can't believe how irresponsible pet store are. My sister went
in a Pet Supplies Plus and they had bunnies. She wants to get one and the
man at the pet store told her that they don't bite and they are easy to
care for. That just got me so angry because they are not all ...

Bad hare day!
Sometimes, I just can't believe it...29 Jun 2005 04:49 GMT5
So I hear these noises out in the other room.  I go out there, and The
Phooka has climbed up on TOP of his cage (which stands two and a half feet
up) and has found the bottle of his papaya treats and is shaking it around
by the lid.  He saw me coming, ran across his entire cage ...
Good thoughts, please29 Jun 2005 00:44 GMT16
Wanda got a haircut and a check yesterday. My poor bunny girl has gone
downhill seemingly overnight.
She's having problems standing and is skin and bones. I am taking her
to the vets this afternoon to ease her journey.

Lil Peer Konijn, Netherland Dwarf, age 3, died during the night.  After
battles with Pasturella, several surgeries, and long term antibiotics, he
finally gave up the battle.  He joins his brother Dinks to wait at the
Bridge.
Rabbit shedding question...?27 Jun 2005 17:07 GMT6
I have two bunnies (dwarfs) that have been indoor bunnies up until a
few weeks ago.  Now they've been living in a large hutch in the carport
most of the time (about 2 hours a day I let them run loose in a
fenced-in area in my backyard).  It can get to about 95F in the day,
I went nail clipping today!26 Jun 2005 23:10 GMT1
Ahhh, So happy about this...
I talked to some students parents a while back about their bunnies. They
were afraid of cutting bunny nails!
Sooooo... They asked me if I could come over this weekend and the cut
Flea treatment?26 Jun 2005 14:52 GMT3
I rescued a lop yesterday and she has fleas.  I have one other rabbit
but have never had a rabbit flea problem before and am not sure how to
treat it.
Thank you for any suggestions!
Donna not better - not worse either.25 Jun 2005 05:24 GMT5
She's now on penicillin injections.  She also is being force-fed as she's not
eating enough on her own.  She will eat lettuce and a few pellets but not
enough to sustain her.   Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.  I follow up with the vet tommorrow,
and a week from Monday, she gets to stay at the AH ...
