Michele's CC is gone...16 Jan 2007 16:10 GMT22
I don't know what has happened, but michele's cephas conejo (cc), her
youngest, has crossed the Bridge.  Cephas was the son of Rotten Rabbit (rr)
and the grandson of the fawn-patterned bb (it's been so long I THINK it
stands for Beautiful Bunny! but I'm not sure - she's just bb ...
Mr Bun Bun went to the bridge today16 Jan 2007 13:14 GMT26
He's been having a rough time since Thurs or Fri.  He was tired, his
body was tired.  so today i let him go and euthanized him in bed with
me.
I did a necropsy, he was obstruted in a part of his colon i couldn't
When I grow up I wanna be just like my bunny...16 Jan 2007 05:17 GMT6
December 28th marked 11-1/2 years for Tibs. I figure that in human years she
is probably equivalent to a woman in her 90s. (And Cocoa and Amber are in
their 100s!)
My crooked little bunny is definitely the worse for wear, but I don't refer
Little Drummer-Bunny!16 Jan 2007 02:10 GMT2
Pepper and I played another game last night.
She likes to play with the plastic trays from food containers. They are
light, fun to toss around and make noise with, smooth for licking, and
they smell like food. Currently she has the packaging from a 2-pk of
Farewell Sweet Dusty16 Jan 2007 02:09 GMT31
My Dustypops  didnt make it.
She was hanging on so hard, and everyone's thoughts and good wishes willing
her to pull through, but in the end it was all too much for her.
She was sat on my lap, being stroked and calmed and loved,  and she had a
Zoe vs. Christian - Round 115 Jan 2007 18:06 GMT5
We tried introducing the two bunnies to each other last night. It seemed ok
at first with just some curiosity being shown.
It appeared Christian was somewhat nervous and when Zoe sniffed him, he got
spooked and jumped leading to a short scuffle with one or the other losing
Laurie, OMG, your card!!!15 Jan 2007 16:22 GMT14
We just got it tonight, and it was beautiful. I saw the front and
thought -- "I didn't know she had a dog..."
What a wonderful story -- adopting two elder animals. I got all choked
up at the story, I could just see that scared little dog.
Cocoa's x-ray report15 Jan 2007 06:03 GMT14
Ok, it was partly what I expected.
First, his tooth roots are fine. Second, she said there was a lot of
calcification of his middle ear, so the cloudiness of the x-ray masked it
too much to see if there was infection. Now, from what I've read, you can't
Zoe meet Christian13 Jan 2007 22:19 GMT16
Well, we've been to the pet store a number of times and kept seeing this
little grey and white rabbit. The store manager talked about him as if he
was a piece of furniture. He's been there for a while so they would mark him
down if anyone was interested.

Bunnie Mum to be one day /newbie..:)13 Jan 2007 10:46 GMT5
Hi one and all,
I have joined this group in the hope of learning as much as I can about Bun

properly and that it would be happy in our home.  I am an avid Rat and Dog
Fear of vacuum13 Jan 2007 08:40 GMT5
Our dear Zeta continues to be completely terrified of the vacuum cleaner.
Is there any hope that she will one day be more comfortable around the
noise?  She goes absolutely crazy as soon as she hears the noise.  Louie, on
the other hand, has been known to sleep through the noise ...
Dusty13 Jan 2007 02:22 GMT23
Its now about 24 hours since Dusty's operation (spay and bladder stone).
She spent the night on my lap mostly in bed, I can tell you Im exhausted!  I
have been syringing her meds, pain killer and antibiotics as prescribed and
also liquid food that smells like mushed up ...
Cocoa had nystagmus (eye scanning)13 Jan 2007 01:54 GMT11
It's the first time I've ever seen this, though I've read about it. He had
side to side eye scanning this morning while I was giving him his fluids. It
doesn't seem to be happening this evening, but I was concerned today(close
to freaked actually).
