Tonight's session31 Mar 2007 18:58 GMT3
Ugh - a bit better a bit worse tonight...
A bit better in that the initial fighting was shorter and took longer to
get started.
A bit worse in that they actually tussled quite a bit later in the session.
Sierra update.31 Mar 2007 16:46 GMT2
Greetings;
For the past week, I've kept Sierra in a cage so her incision wouldn't get
infected.  On Wednesday night, a week after her spay, I let my little grey
girl out.  She was so happy to have the bathroom back and made a pest of
One week so far - Pepper & Frisco30 Mar 2007 15:53 GMT7
Sigh.  One step forward and one step back.
For two days now they've been interacting though double bars - close
enough to see/spray but not to bite.  Things were going well - Pepper
spent a lot of time laying like a little sphynx next to the bars, and
Millie the attack rabbit30 Mar 2007 14:00 GMT12
I tried to sweep up her area just now, and she attacked the
broom. Made some weird grunting sound I haven't heard before, rushed
it and started trying to tear it up with her teeth. She simply would
not let the broom in her enclosure. My wife nearly fell over laughing.
Vet warns against bunnies and chicks for Easter.30 Mar 2007 11:25 GMT2
Greetings;
The Lake County News-Sun had a great article about not buying bunnies and
chicks at Easter for children.  We're not just being sentamental and foolish
when we tel folks not to buy these animals for kids.  Here's an educated
Temperature Range30 Mar 2007 04:46 GMT6
Hi, I have an indoor rabbit that I keep in the porch area where he can run
free. There is no heating in the room. What is the temperature ranges for
rabbits? What's to cold and what's to hot?
Thanks in advance ^_^

OT/ my family could really use some prayers, vibes29 Mar 2007 20:36 GMT10
Hi....
My recovery seems to be some of the absolute best news my entire
family has had. I talked to my mom tonight. The first of the news...
well, if I were in a boxing ring, it probably would have knocked me
Bears Lumps29 Mar 2007 05:39 GMT9
Well it turns out Bears lumps are not cancer. When he went back for
his 6 week tooth trim I had them check the lumps again and there were
more of them. They decided to draw some stuff out of them to see what
it looked like. When they looked at it, it appeared to be feces????
first bonding session - Bun Fight Tonight!29 Mar 2007 01:28 GMT43
Two big events today - I put them in each other's cages for a couple of
hours this morning, and this evening was the first official attempt at a
bonding session.
The cage switch went pretty well - I feel sorry for Pepper because I'm
Good call Nona!  Frisco's teeth28 Mar 2007 05:45 GMT1
I dropped a note to the shelter and it turns out that he has had tooth
spurs in the past.  When I told them about the drooly green puddles he
was leaving at veggie time, they told me to go ahead and take him in for
a tooth-trim.  Since he is still a foster they will pay for it, ...
I think my bunny is hurt help!?!?28 Mar 2007 05:24 GMT8
The other day I was letting my babies roam around in their bunny room and
Ginger the Lionshead jumped on top of her wire caged. Normally she jumps on
and off and its no problem but this time she got her foot caught! She was
scratching at the wall and she started falling backwards ...
Introducing Millicent28 Mar 2007 02:15 GMT34
We found Oreo a new friend yesterday at the local shelter. Her previous
hoomins had brought her back because they didn't want her any more. As
it happens we got there about five minutes after they dropped her off,
and Oreo took to her immediately, so I think it's a good match.
