I've been told to only give room temperature water to buns because ice
cold water can give them cramps.
My buns get tap water same as me be I like mine ice cold.  Thought ice
Mineral oil, Ivomec or Ivermectin ?30 May 2007 13:10 GMT14
Hi Newsgroup,
Looks like my rabbit has a case of ear mites, I'd hoped this wasn't the
case and that she'd clean it up herself, but.. it's not happening.
I live so far out there aren't any vets here that'll handle rabbits, so,
Thank you30 May 2007 12:33 GMT2
A couple of weeks ago I wrote asking for advice about my mini-lop tearing
chunks of fur off her abdomen and I received some excellent advice about
false pregnancies, possible fleas and what I should do.
I'm happy to say that both my rabbits were spayed last Friday and have come
Fame at last!30 May 2007 05:53 GMT5
A friend whose dog has just died aged 17 is thinking about getting a
new one, although she had always said she wouldn't.  I was trying to
get her to take a rescue one from a shelter and gave her the link to
the shelter Mr Nutmeg Varmint came from.  Then I started to scroll
Picking up bunnies30 May 2007 04:11 GMT14
Wow - I just saw the latest Rabbit magazine and it has so many pics of
people picking up their bunnies.  Is that typical?  Mine let it be known in
no uncertain terms that they don't wanna be picked up or held.

A guy from NZ posted on one of my other bunny groups (live journal's
bunnyowners community) and was looking for local info and sources for
rabbit stuff.
I don't know enough about NZ to know if he's anywhere near you, but
Just maybe..?29 May 2007 10:44 GMT1
Hi fellow bunsters..:)
I have a sneaky suspicion that, that Witchy Woman Bunny of mine is learning
how to binky..:))  She trotted from one end of her duvet to the other and in
a flash flipped round and was facing the other way.  She has done this twice
How to keep bunny from jumping up on the couch?29 May 2007 06:51 GMT8
We have a new (12 weeks old, too young for spaying) bunny whose favorite
thing in the world when she gets let out of her room for play time is to
jump up on the couch and leave a puddle.  Our backs only need to be turned
for a second before she will seize this opportunity.  How ...
Lumps & Bumps28 May 2007 06:12 GMT3
Today I noticed when I put my hand down around my rabbits chest/
stomach area, lumps.  They felt like pure round lumps that moved
underneat the skin.  You can sort of push them around and they don't
appear to be causing him any pain.  I put slight pressure on them and
Hi From Ronie!27 May 2007 23:27 GMT7
there have been ALOT of changes in my life.  I'm now single and trying
to figure out how to live alone financially.
I've also started a new job as of January.  That's been hecktic.  They

This is kinda funny27 May 2007 21:58 GMT2
Okay so I think AGAIN the owners of these rabbits should be supervising a
little more but hell these chickens are cute enough to stop a fight. Perhaps
local pubs and clubs should employ them as bouncers.

Beaten by bunnies27 May 2007 20:56 GMT14
I think I'm going to have to see about giving Gracie back to the
shelter. It's been almost a month now and they still are irreconcilable.
There are small periods where it seems like it's going to work, and next
thing there are handfuls of fur flying all over. She wants to be
Cocoa has leg swelling27 May 2007 20:41 GMT6
Sure, it's the weekend and we just had a costly vet visit :P
I noticed a couple of weeks ago, that Cocoa's one leg seemed a bit puffy,
but I wasn't sure if I was imagining it. Today though, it did seem
swollen...sort of like he's retaining water. It starts at the knee and goes

Beth's Amber is gone26 May 2007 16:41 GMT26
This is hard to type...Beth just told me on msn that Amber has passed. He
had fluid in his lungs...a common problem that happens with disabled buns.
Of course you can imagine how upset she is.
Dori, if you're around, call her.
