Maybe acquiring some female youngsters in the next few weeks.
Can anyone confirm should they be quarantined before introducing them to our
other two older females. IE is there a recommended period. Also any advice
tips on how to get them used to their new cage mates?.

my girl is losing weight, she lives with two other rats they all seem fine,
i have taken her to the vets twice as i can see and feel she is losing
weight but the vet cannot find anything wrong with her, except the weight
loss.

Just a quick question to ask you guys if any of you can recommend a good
place for rescuing ratties in the UK - Preferably around the Herts, Beds &
Bucks area? Would prob go as far as London but due to ratties not really
liking big journeys we need to stay as close to home as we can ...

This totally cracks my wife and I up-----Luna, when the girls have
out-time, will go around outside to the back edge of the cage, pull
her nesting material(pieces of paper towel) thru the bars, then run
back into the cage with her "new-found" pieces of paper towel.

I decided to have an "out" time today with my younger cage: ratties age
ranging from 5 months to 8 months. Then I decided to add my old boys Benny
and Russo. Benny and Russo live alone in a single level cage because of
Russo's lack of balance and permanent head tilt.
