'Fraid I had to make the decision to put the boys to sleep today, recent breathing problems and Gromits enlarged right eye made my mind up for me. They went peacfully laid side by side and their suffering ended. We all gave each other a very happy two years and I will miss

I saw a picture of a play area for ratties made out of a kiddie pool with toys in it. I was wondering if anyone had tried this, and if their rats liked it. I'm always looking for new ideas for out time. Meghan

For some reason my news server went crazy and I haven't been able to connect in days! AHH. My ratties are all doing well and they got a bunch of great presents for Christmas. Santa went shopping at theratshop.com and they got a wooden cage perch, treats, new lower-protein lab ...

I went and collected Shilo from her house this afternoon to take her to the vet for a check up (her owners have no transport) she was given another course of antibiotics and they remarked on how much better she is looking. Her next check up is on Wednesday.

I was in a house this evening where they lost a pup to parvo and their other pup had just got home from the vets today all though she is still very ill. We didn't realize before we went that they had had parvo as they didn't think to tell us.

hi my rat Tilly is now almost 3 and shes gotten slightly unsteady on her feet, i think its just because of her age but i just dont know when it becomes unfair to keep her going. The last thing i want is for her to be suffering anymore than she has to but she has lost so much weight

I have my two new little girls tonight! Rescued by a very brave young woman from a nasty life and worse death and then delivered by a very compassionate person. These little ones have been through more in their few short weeks than any rat should have to endure.

Could any one explain when I download the groups messages in the bottom left corner of the screen it shows 452 messages 6 unread 496 not downloaded. What does the not downloaded mean. I have my setting on download all messages I compact files every so often,
