Feliway and Rats31 Dec 2005 01:27 GMT5
Does anyone use Feliway in their homes for their cats? I'm wondering
if anyone has noticed if rats have a negative reaction to the product.
Thank you,
Wallace and Gromit are no more31 Dec 2005 00:07 GMT7
'Fraid I had to make the decision to put the boys to sleep today,
recent breathing problems and Gromits enlarged right eye made my mind
up for me. They went peacfully laid side by side and their suffering
ended. We all gave each other a very happy two years and I will miss
Rats and kiddie pools30 Dec 2005 16:02 GMT6
I saw a picture of a play area for ratties made out of a kiddie pool with
toys in it.  I was wondering if anyone had tried this, and if their rats
liked it.  I'm always looking for new ideas for out time.

Right, that's enough about me...
I've got two male rats, they're both from the same litter, they're about
six months old and one is much bigger than the other one.
Sometimes I can hear squeaks and notice the big one is powergrooming the

For some reason my news server went crazy and I haven't been able to connect
in days!  AHH.  My ratties are all doing well and they got a bunch of great
presents for Christmas.  Santa went shopping at theratshop.com and they got
a wooden cage perch, treats, new lower-protein lab ...

Update on Shilo24 Dec 2005 13:32 GMT3
I went and collected Shilo from her house this afternoon to take her to the
vet for a check up (her owners have no transport) she was given another
course of antibiotics and they remarked on how much better she is looking.
Her next check up is on Wednesday.
Advice please. Canine Parvo and rats23 Dec 2005 11:32 GMT7
I was in a house this evening where they lost a pup to parvo and their other
pup had just got home from the vets today all though she is still very ill.
We didn't realize before we went that they had had parvo as they didn't
think to tell us.

my old rat22 Dec 2005 10:41 GMT7
hi my rat Tilly is now almost 3 and shes gotten slightly unsteady on
her feet, i think its just because of her age but i just dont know when
it becomes unfair to keep her going. The last thing i want is for her

My Rescue Babies22 Dec 2005 03:45 GMT13
I have my two new little girls tonight!  Rescued by a very brave young woman
from a nasty life and worse death and then delivered by a very compassionate
person.  These little ones have been through more in their few short weeks
than any rat should have to endure.
