years time, if the first one goes they still have company..
What antibiotic should I try now?30 Jul 2006 03:23 GMT5
Hello, fellow rat lovers. I could use some advice.
I have three females, two that are about a year old (Darla and Buttons) and
one that is a little over a year (Chewey).  They are all pet store rats.
They have been pretty healthy up to now.  They all had some kind of

My Baby Mouse Wont Eat!29 Jul 2006 18:13 GMT5
I got a baby mouse from the pet shop I work at. They of course are used
as feeder mice, but I wanted a little baby as a pet cause i figured it
would be sweeter to me, he's a fuzzie with his eyes closed. Well I've
raised a squirrel before, and I fed it kitten formula. I searched
Introduction29 Jul 2006 08:58 GMT12
I've been lurking for a while and have posted a couple of times, so I
thought it was about time I introduced myself.
My name is Dewi and I live in Brisbane, Australia. My husband and I
have adopted nine fantastic rats. We adopted our first 3 rats in 2004
Help needed to stop ratty removing her stitches29 Jul 2006 08:33 GMT46
Our current eldest, Mea, who'll be three around September, had major
surgery on Friday to remove two tumours. On the table they found a
further two & ended up removing all four.
She survived the op & seemed perky, eating & drinking straight after she
Help me?29 Jul 2006 04:42 GMT4
Hi all, I have a neutered boy, Munch, that can climb anything no matter how
high.  I found him in the top of my closet one day with his beady little
eyes looking down at me.  He has used the drawer handles to get up onto the
kitchen counter.  He climbs the kiddie gate and we have ...

Mammary tumors28 Jul 2006 00:16 GMT23
Since mammary tumors seem to be fairly common in rats, I'm hoping some of
you can answer some questions about them.
Does everyone agree that they need to be removed, or are there some
circumstances when they should be left alone? How risky is tumor removal and
Desperately Need To Re-home 6 Doe's27 Jul 2006 07:03 GMT4
It is with a heavy heart that I have to put this post on your group.
I have 6 beautiful does, all with wonderful temperaments that I need to
re-home.
They range from 7 months to 18 months, are very happy in their colony
looks like we're pregnant27 Jul 2006 05:33 GMT2
It's a good thing I never bred one of my ladies.  Merlene took care of that
on her own, somehow.  The boys were never out at the sametime as any of the
ladies, but Merlene is now rounding up nicely.  The only thing we can figure
is she was able to slip between the bars/wire in ...
Baby rat videos26 Jul 2006 13:38 GMT21
Three and a half years ago we had a litter of rats (petshop-bought
rat was pregnant!). We sold most, and kept two for ourselves, which died
less than two years later: inbreeding probably contributing to their short
lives.
