Art really ill31 Oct 2007 11:19 GMT14
A fair bit of blood on and around the nose (pretty sure it is blood)
labouring a bit to breathe. He will not eat or drink, I've tried yoghurt,
complan , melon etc. He seems to have lost weight even from yesterday.
The lump on his stomach that the vet said was a tumour, I'm pretty ...

Potty Training???26 Oct 2007 10:52 GMT30
So today is the first day of my potty training experience.  I have attempted
it many times before and failed misrably every time.  Each time I buy that
little box and the little pellets from the pet store, and every time they
just play in the little container, and never actually use ...
edible flowers26 Oct 2007 10:29 GMT5
would the blossoms off fruit trees be ok for rats to eat? What other
flowers could they safely ingest, should they like the smell of them?
Roses? The nectar laden types...ah...jasmin..honeysuckle..[having a

Easy (ish) tube hammock25 Oct 2007 13:46 GMT4
1. Obtain a pair of small child's trousers (pretty cheap from a charity
shop, or a supermarket - I paid £4 for mine from a well-known supermarket
chain starting with T).
2. Unpick the seam (or cut, if you're lazy!) down the middle of the seat
Art and Tar...Health25 Oct 2007 05:05 GMT6
Looks like getting Art and Tar a ferret nation cage is not going to be the
best idea, I am going to get them a single level cage.
Tar has mediumly bad hind leg paralysis and Art has the onset of it. Last
night I thought Tars urine was quite strong and he had soaked his bedding.

New rat age calculator with birthday calendar22 Oct 2007 08:20 GMT22
Because the ratty age calculator (which calculates the age of your rat in
"human years") is the most popular page at my website, a while ago I decided
to update it. It's more or less ready now, and the new features include:
* You can now save all your rats for later use, so you ...
My mommy is in the hospital :(21 Oct 2007 18:16 GMT1
My MIL took her for a check up cause driving hurts me and my MIL came
in and I said "where is mom?" and she said "they are keeping her"  not
sure why, I hope it's not her heart. Anyway thoughts and prayers would
be appreciated, thanks.
Just finished putting together the Ferret Nation :-)21 Oct 2007 16:16 GMT5
I can see now why it is recommended two people build it.
It's not that the parts are heavy , it's just it may have took me a bit less
time if I had a couple of more hands :-)
Worth it though, I am very impressed, it is going to be so easy to clean :-)
