| Can a male rat | 22 Feb 2008 21:49 GMT | 1 |
Can a male rat whose testicles haven't dropped still impregnate a female rat? Any health concerns for a male rat whose "ooglies" haven't dropped?

| Glue-sniffers | 22 Feb 2008 19:44 GMT | 5 |
I've just discovered why the rats were so eager to squeeze their way into the shallow central drawer of the desk; it turns out there was a tube of UHU glue in there. By the time I caught them there was already a tooth-sized hole in the side of the time, and fumes oozing everywhere.. ...

| Considering getting a rat | 22 Feb 2008 06:52 GMT | 11 |
I am considering getting a pet rat, however a couple of things concern me. First of all, can rats be kept on their own? I have read that they like companionship, but I'm worried about getting two in case they fight (I don't have space for a second cage if I need to separate them.)

| New boys, sadness with Buttons, an indelicate question | 21 Feb 2008 18:01 GMT | 3 |
Hi everyone. It's been awhile. We've been very busy with new rats, and having sadness with one of our older girls, Buttons. First the fun news. We adopted Bernard, Nigel, Little Bear and Joe. All of these boys came

| Miracles would be nice, hm? | 16 Feb 2008 17:53 GMT | 4 |
Around the fall of last year, I lost one of my first two rats (Munch) after his health deteriorated. He went from having bumble foot to limping to hind leg paralysis to not eating or drinking. The only thing that he would drink is water coming from a needle syringe.

Does anyone know where Joanne is these days? She never seems to be here. If you read this Joanne could you look at the pic of Riley and try and determine an age for him? Thanks. Regards Kate

| How can you tell when the fighting is serious | 04 Feb 2008 01:04 GMT | 7 |
My two rats go at it quite often these days. They're a little over 3 months old and the bigger one often jumps on the smaller one and flips her over and makes her squeak. But they sleep together and usually get along. The big one wins 80-90% of all "fights" but sometimes the ...

| one rat getting huge | 04 Feb 2008 01:00 GMT | 4 |
Hi, I have two rats who are about 3 months old. One PEW and one hooded. They started out more or less the same size when I got them and I believe that they were within a week or so of being the same age. In fact the PEW seemed a little smaller than the hooded.

| You do need more than 1 rat | 04 Feb 2008 00:57 GMT | 9 |
At first I was skeptical about everybody who said you need at least 2 rats. I have a hamster background and they get along fine alone (syrians at least). But after a few months of observing my 2 girls, I can't imagine how awful it

| Another option.. | 04 Feb 2008 00:54 GMT | 1 |
Thinking about my baldy wee Riley, perhaps his Mum was an excessive barberer? It is another option LOL Regards Kate and Silber and Riley the squirt

| Question About The Bridge | 01 Feb 2008 18:12 GMT | 5 |
Just a question about people who post that their beloved rattie has gone to the bridge. By bridge do you mean a separate place other than Heaven, a place within Heaven, or Heaven itself?
