Itchy rat31 Mar 2008 06:56 GMT2
My pet rat just had surgery to remove a small lump. No problems with
the surgery or the stitches; however I noticed about a week after
surgery, she's scratching around the cut a lot (not the stitching
itself), where her fur is shaved.  There are small wounds, no bleeding

What Britain Earns TV programme28 Mar 2008 12:13 GMT4
I watched this TV programme the other day (on the BBC, I think) presented
by John and Dan Snow. The subject of the programme is pretty obvious, and
it involved Dan Snow trying out various jobs for a day, one of which was
sewer flushing.
How do I tame my wild boy?28 Mar 2008 12:03 GMT2
Hi everyone. I would like to ask for some suggestions on how to tame
down our new wild boy, Bernard, estimated 1 year old. We brought him

the previous owner's other rat(s), and she couldn't spend enough time

doing this a lot.  Is this aggression, or just normal play? Any ideas
I'm Stuck.24 Mar 2008 16:06 GMT3
Awhile back I posted about my rat, Fin, who started showing signs of
hind leg paralysis. While there was  a lot of concern; he seemed to
have no problem moving around, eating, etc. His quality of life was
still fully intact. There was no reason to put him down when he was,
Black Fire has crossed the Bridge23 Mar 2008 05:07 GMT5
Little Black Fire Passed on This weekend. She was only with us for 11
months, but she left an indelible mark. She was 3 years and 5 months old.
She was the longest living rat we have ever had. She was awesome. Her 5 boy
cagemates seem a bit at a loss. She was such a cuddle bunny ...

Fox TV sinks to new low promoting animal cruelty as "comedy"16 Mar 2008 19:50 GMT8
OK, I just saw a preview for some new series titled "Unhitched" on
FOX.  In this clip, a rat jumps into a microwave, the door is shut,
and the microwave is turned on (it doesn't show how.) The next thing
we see is a group of men standing there with one commenting on how
