I was asking advice on a site about rat health, when I thought 'I wonder if

So here I am! :)
I have 3 ratty girls. Nibbles and Rascal are 18 month old hooded rats, and

We'll be getting a friend (hopefully a sister) for Pippy this afternoon,
along with a new cage. I found a tool here:
http://www.rattycorner.com/odds/calc.shtml
that tells me I should look for dimensions of 27.5"h x 27.5"w x 17.3"d.

we got a new critter05 Jul 2008 01:20 GMT16
Hello all. After a bad experience with a couple of hamsters, yesterday we
brought home a 5 week old blue rat from Petsmart. She's a cute and
friendly little bugger.
I want this critter to be happy and healthy. She's in a 24x12x14 wire cage

This year's Kate Greenaway Medal-winner dedicated her winning book to
the two pet rats who helped her create it, putting in sterling service
nibbling the edges of the pages on cue to produce that authentic
'mouse-eaten' look:
