- now before you fly off the handle... the rats are too light to set off the
mines :)
apparently these same rats are also used to detect TB in human saliva using
smell. good little guys...

Since our three rats are going to be looked after by my brother-in-law
(who can be a bit of a flake) for two weeks, we decided to put a single,
big 1-liter Lixit bottle in the cage, so that even if he forgets to
check the water, there would be enough to get them through. Mounted ...

Sadly, tumors were getting to be too much for our little naked girl. She
must have been darn near 3 years old. I gave her a good life & she enriched
mine. She was a rescue. Our last 3 boys are now without their "step-mom".
The house is so quite. She was like their hot-water ...

Does anyone else use the cardboard carry-boxes with six compartments for
wine bottles which you can get from supermarkets (in the UK, anyway) for
their rats? Mine love them - they can go in through one of the compartments
and it's all one big box inside, and I can get it in the ...
