Do veterinarians usually sedate a cat before drawing blood? If so, how much do they usually sedate the cat? Alot (as if the cat was going to have surgery) or a little (just enough to keep the cat from freaking out)?

My dog has a largish black spot that is close to his eye, it looks like a large black sty I suppose, but it doesn't appear to bother him. Is there any way of dealing with this, or is it something I should not be worried about ?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why a fed well (Iams, always in the bowl) dog would eat the other dogs poop? This is a discusting habit that we would like to break, just not sure how. Help!! We're tired of poopie breath.

My eight-year-old German Shepherd has had several bouts of a nasty skin infection over the last few months, characterised by inflammation of the skin and a green, evil-smelling discharge. A lab culture identified the Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria.

I came home tonight and found that my dog had vomited 3x on the floor. After cleaning it up I took her outside for a short walk. We came in and she drank a bunch of water. She held it down for only about 10 minutes before she vomited it back up.
