Willie results31 Jul 2004 20:07 GMT3
The pathology showed no cancer.  YEAH!  But now we don't know why the lymph
nodes are all inflamed, or why he's lost so much weight, or has the
flatulence.
Could he still have IBD?  I'm going to talk to the vet again today and ask

Hello all - I have an 8 year old spayed half Siamese cat who throws up
frequently.  Other than that, she is extremely healthy, active, eats well,
plays, etc., but is very high strung.  Is vomiting a common trait for
Siamese cats?  Is there such a thing as kitty Prozac that might ...

Akita tail suddenly won't curl30 Jul 2004 14:18 GMT5
This morning my Akita's tail was staright out and wouldn't curl over
the rear haunches.  She seemed to be in some discomfort when I tried
to "curl" it.  Otherwise she seems fine...eating well, walking OK,
taking water, alert.

my son has brought me a sparrow from outside. It was sitting on his hand
when he came in with it, he found it sitting on the ground somewhere.
Its mouth was wide opened. I put it into a box with a warming bottle, a
plate of water and some bread, but it is sitting at one spot only.

I took my dog (mixed Golden Retriever) camping and we were next to a
lake in North Carolina. We did some swimming in the lake although he
did not really enjoy it.

FCE recovery chances27 Jul 2004 17:41 GMT3
Our 7-year old labrador had a FCE last Tuesday while out chasing toys in the
field. We were lucky in that we got him to the Swiss national animal
hospital within a few hours & an X-ray and MRI confirmed the diagnosis. We
were told not to expect much recovery as he was equally ...
My cat  was short hair domestic, now furry hairball. And it's still growing25 Jul 2004 23:58 GMT5
In February my cat was diagnosed with hyper-thyroid. Because it was
the best choice for us, I went with radium treatments. In March he got
his shot, spent four days at the vets, and came home. By June he was
his old self, had regained his weight, and came through the thyroid
Possible good news!25 Jul 2004 02:16 GMT6
Willie has had his exploratory surgery.  The vet didn't find the primary
mass the ultrasound had seen, rather, he found many enlarged lymph nodes
which he biopsied, and a "pea sized" thickening of the pyelorus which he
also biopsied.

I have a three year old female who lost a senior dog last week.
She's has always been a VERY funny dog. One who always made me laugh and
