Help with my Abby Goat. Desperate!27 May 2005 20:39 GMT1
I have a mutt goat, part mini.  She started acting listless yesterday.
Today it got worse.  Usually, she is an "in your face" goat.
Yesterday and today she just lays in a corner in the feed stall.
She can move around, but just won't very much.  Sometimes when she
Causes of Pancreatitis in Dogs ...Continued27 May 2005 02:11 GMT2
April 12, 2002 seems to be my last post regarding my dog's bout with
Pancreatitis.  She was 10 years old.  Although, then the cause was
never discovered, I am tempted to believe it was only the symptom of
what she currently has been diagnosed with - Cushings disease.
Did Prednisone kill my cat or was it inevitable?27 May 2005 01:06 GMT3
We had owned/cherished our cat since it was a couple of weeks old and she
would have been 14yrs old in late August.... 18mths ago she was found to

Our 70 lb. Lab/Golden mix swallowed a polished rock from my indoor
fountain about the size of a pecan (the rock, not the fountain) ; )
After 2 1/2 days, it has yet to "pass".  We're getting tired of
squishing poop.

Saskia, my 14-month-old Dane, has had for some months a problem that
manifests every couple of weeks or so as a sudden yelp followed by 30
seconds of limping on her right foreleg. X-rays revealed nothing amiss with
her foot, ankle, shoulder, etc. It can happen while she's playing or ...

vaccination cost benefit08 May 2005 12:10 GMT1
I took a feral cat to the vet last year for emergency medical treatment.
In addition to the emergency stuff, I had him fully vaccinated and
tested for fiv/leukemia.  Now I've gotten a notice from the vet saying
distemper booster is due. Is it worth capturing him and taking him ...
Foal with white diarrhea06 May 2005 17:34 GMT1
I have a 2 month old foal who's had completely white and quite
malodorous diarrhea for two days. Nothing seems off about it apart from
this, it eats and drinks normally.
I'm an MD and while I'm not an DVM, in humans it could be something
Disagreement with boss04 May 2005 01:18 GMT14
This question is mainly related to all those in the vet business but
everyone is welcome to voice their opinion as always!  The problems I'm
having is with Proheart 6.  I live in Canada and I know that it has been
recalled in the states for numerous reasons.  We decided that we'd ...
Med. ID? Kills fleas in 30 minutes04 May 2005 00:01 GMT4
Today my vet gave my dog a free sample of a pill that kills
fleas in 30 minutes. True to fact, there were dying fleas
on the towel covering the car seat when we got home.
What is this stuff?!! I don't recall exactly what he told me,
