what was the diagnosis of disk disease, where was the lesion (what disk space), how was the lesion diagnosed
what surgical proceedure was performed?, was it a neurologist, boarded surgeon, or other DVM? ...

We got a new ~1yr old dog from a rescue organization.  It has had diarrhea
pretty much constantly for 3 weeks.  The vet gave it 10 days of Flagyl and
then 3 days of Panacur.  It still has the runs.  How many days should we
wait before deciding the problem is not cured?

I've been doing as much research as I possibly can on hypothyroidism in
dogs... and I'm fairly certain that my chocolate lab is hypo...but my
vet is insistent that he has 'allergies' and should be tested...for
