4 year old chocolate lab vomiting28 Apr 2006 01:11 GMT5
Hope some people might have an idea about this as my vets are stumped.
Our dog had been throwing her food back up anywhere from an hour to three
for two days. We feed her 1 1/3 cup twice a day and didn't realize she was
throwing up outside. It was not violent she just let it come ...
Pomeranian with luxating patella26 Apr 2006 12:40 GMT3
I have a four and a half year old pomeranian who has a luxating patella
in both of her hind legs. When she was a puppy we had the problem
corrected by surgery. However, from time to time she will have
"attacks"  that last for about 10 minutes. The attacks consist of her

Tabby cat Dew claw24 Apr 2006 21:38 GMT2
I am new here, but Dean/Papa Red suggested that I post my question here
with you. Our tabby cat's "dew claw" seems to be growing large and into
his paw..sort of like an ingrown toe-nail on a human would do. I don't
dare take the regular cat claw clippers to it because I won't know ...

Parosteal Osteosarcoma, choice of Biopsy for cat?18 Apr 2006 18:32 GMT2
Have an 11 year old cat that has a tumor on it's hind leg.  Vet took x-rays
and blood tests and all we know so far is that there is no cancer that has
spread to the lungs.  We have been told hi has Parosteal Osteosarcoma.
Having a hard time getting a vet to explain the possible ...
Skin irritation...16 Apr 2006 21:23 GMT20
First a bit of background information. We've been looking after our
neighbour's 13 year old German Shepard. They love him to pieces, and when
they are home they walk him every day.  His owners have been away for about
3 weeks now (well his favorite has been away about 5 weeks). ...
Esophagitis15 Apr 2006 10:29 GMT1
Does anyone have any experience treating esophagitis?  My 6 1/2 year
old cat who had previously been (mis)diagnosed as having pancreatitis,
just had an endoscopic exam and was found to have esophagitis, and his
belly was full of food even though he had not eaten for over 10 hours.
Whaaa I broke a nail!15 Apr 2006 01:14 GMT3
Don't know if its an issue or not. Thought I'd see what people here have to
say. Noticed on my nearly 2 year old lab, that one of his dew claws has a
longitudinal crack in it extending a fair ways up the nail. It doesn't seem
to bother him in the slightest.

hard, not an abscess, not painful to touch, and no decreased mobility.  Cat
seems fine. Anything which would require a visit to the vet?

puppy teeth- when to pull them?11 Apr 2006 20:35 GMT7
At what point does it become necessary to have puppy teeth pulled if they
haven't fallen out on their own?  Cali, almost 8 months old, still has 2 of
her puppy teeth and they aren't even close to wiggling out.  I plan to have
them pulled when she is spayed but that isn't for ...
insulinoma10 Apr 2006 18:00 GMT10
I've been reading this newsgroup for awhile and notice that there are a lot of knowledgable folks here. I hope you can help.
In December, my beloved 14-year old (female, spayed) fox terrier was diagnosed with hypoglycemia and in early January, with insulinoma with insulin ratio, ...
