Dogs & Skin Allergies30 Jun 2006 20:35 GMT6
I have a 26 pound short & sweet Sheltie mix that gets itchy skin every
summer.  He's about 4 and it wasn't too bad until last year.  I used a
spray on him and it seemed to help, but not this year.  I took him to
the vet and she gave him an antibiotic (which he just finished) and
Help! Cat not eating.29 Jun 2006 15:36 GMT1
Hello :)
I have a 9 year old female cat who suddenly stopped eating and
drinking. I have taken her to the vet numerous times and they can find
nothing wrong. They have taken blood tests and x-rays.
Concerned w/ diagnosis28 Jun 2006 09:49 GMT9
I've posted before regarding my 9-year old chihuahua/fiest mix. Please
understand, this is my baby, and she's in so much pain right now that I
could just cry!
About 3 weeks ago, she was vomiting and had diarrea, and the vet

I found maggots on my neighbors dog. I did not know that dogs can even have
maggots. Is this a new disorder? Mike.
Femoral Head and Neck Ostectomy26 Jun 2006 21:25 GMT1
My two year old cat was recently diagnosed with bilateral
Legge-Calves-Perthes disease.  He underwent simultaneous femoral head
and neck ostectomies (FHO) a couple of months ago.  The surgery
appears to have been a great success.
Is xanax safe for dogs?24 Jun 2006 10:52 GMT10
The reason I ask is because 4th of July is coming up, and one of my dogs is
completely inconsolable for the entire month-long event...the slightest
little "pop" will set him off; he doesn't sleep but paces and pants all
night long, which obviously keeps my husband and me awake also. ...
poodle shedding21 Jun 2006 14:08 GMT7
My 10 month old mini poodle has started shedding recently.  I am finding
hair everywhere.  Her coat doesn't have patches where you can tell its
falling out and by the looks of her, you wouldn't notice.  The only reason I
know it is happening is because it is all over on my bed, ...
Atopica and cats21 Jun 2006 09:55 GMT6
Just an observation, and a question if anyone has experience. My
cat has been on it just over a month, so he's on an every other day
dose. His appetite has increased a great deal. I also have a
vomitter now (out of 4 cats) and I haven't seen who is doing it,
Asthmatic Cat Triggers17 Jun 2006 17:13 GMT3
We have a cat that we've owned for about a year and a half. He's always
had minor asthma issues, but lately they have gotten much worse. He's
had depo medrol shots, he's on terbutaline and cyproheptadine but he's
not improving. We had to take him to the ER last night because he was
Cat "diagnosed" with liver tumour16 Jun 2006 03:42 GMT2
Looking for some advice in respect of a relative's 17yr old ginger tom...
approx 3 weeks ago it was noticed that his urine was becoming "fizzy" or
"frothy" (owner's words)... took to vet about a week ago who diagnosed liver
tumour on basis of simply feeling the cat's abdomen - ...
Infected scotum?16 Jun 2006 02:31 GMT8
I volunteer at an animal shelter. For three days, I've been working with
an intact male shepherd that was heavily matted and dirty. Now that I've
removed nearly every mat from this very patient dog, I see that his
scrotum is red, crusty and has pus visible. I figure the irritation ...
