I have an adult (spayed female) cat, indoor only, who has hair loss and hair thinning because she is grooming too much. The hair loss is most pronounced between her back legs (lower abdomen) but hair near the base of her tail and along her back is also thin and broken off.

We have a 13 y/o cat that started getting scabs around her head and neck. The vet said it's some sort of allergy, but does not know from what. We changed her food and they have slowed down, but still present. Just before switching foods though, part of her upper lip was missing.
