I've recently rescued a dog that has hookworms. He's being treated, and I'm learning what I can about them on the Internet. I have a couple of questions, though, that I can't find answers to.

My old Border Collie has arthritis and difficulty getting up, jumping etc. Vet has suggested aspirin and says she will give me the dosage but we always forget when we are in the office. He weighs about 110 and I've been using the 81 mg low dose aspirin at once daily. What is a ...

My vet suggested I give a quarter teaspoon of fiber (metamucil) each day to my 11 year old neutered male cat with colitis. It seems to be working, but I was wondering if freshly ground flaxseed might be better. It has lots of fiber, but also all sorts of other great qualities ...

Can you tell by there ears being very warm? Or how else? I have this sense that my cat is feeling a little under the weather. She seems more tired than usual, not as perky looking.... cat people know when their cat isn't acting usual. She is eating, drinking water, ...
