Cats and raw chicken question30 Jun 2008 08:37 GMT6
Is raw chicken good or bad for cats ??
I was doing chicken abd dropped a small piece and the cats got it and they devoured it.  I
do not give it to them but they got it when I dropped a small piece.  I usually cook it
first for them as a treat.
Gentamicin Sulfate Ophthalmic Solution USP, 0.3%27 Jun 2008 06:32 GMT1
The vet gave me this for my two kitten's eyes but didn't say how long
I should use it. I've been putting it in twice daily for the past
three days and probably have enough for two or three more days. Their
eyes have cleared up nicely, but I don't want to risk a relapse if I
Capstar Question23 Jun 2008 01:42 GMT2
I have Capstar for dogs over 25 pounds. I'd like to give a dose
to two dogs under 25 pounds. Both dogs are six months old or
younger. One is 12 pounds, one is 20 pounds. Can I break one
Capstar in half (or quarters) and give each dog a "partial"

I know I've procrastinated a bit longer this year than I should have,
but I've finally gotten around to getting a flea and tick topical for
our 6 year old Shih Tsu.  We had been using K9 Advantix, but I have been
unhappy with how greasy it leaves the application area, and how

Palliative Care19 Jun 2008 13:27 GMT9
What types of palliative care is usually given to a cat with cancer and
how comfortable can they be made? The cat is at the point now where he
is eating irregularily, but I cannot see any evidence of pain. He sleeps
most of the time and is listless. Would prednisone be a good ...

Subcutaneous fluid therapy for CRF cat10 Jun 2008 12:45 GMT1
My cat suffers from CRF and for the last couple of weeks I have been
giving him sub-q fluids (150ml), typically once every three days or
so. As soon as he started receiving these fluids, he began acting like
he feels much worse. A few hours after receiving fluids, he develops

Hello all pet owners!
My almost 15 year old Beagle is on a small treatment of Metacam for
arthritis. She's doing well now - no problem - but with the heat
coming (32 degreess on the weekend) do you notice your pets are doing
Possible idiopathic epilepsy05 Jun 2008 06:39 GMT1
11-year old Brittany. Very active, great spirit and form. Fabulously
healthy (excepting skin allergies) until recently.
She's had numerous "spells" in the last 2 months in which she appears
to have a brain tremor, then becomes agitated and disoriented. We were
Reglan03 Jun 2008 15:39 GMT2
Does anyone know if there are contraindications to long-term use of
Reglan in dogs?  This is for a dog that recently had unilateral
tieback surgery for laryngeal paralysis and is recovering from
aspiration pneumonia after having a bout of vomiting.  She hasn't been
